Senior Engineer (m/f) Steering & Suspension
for Ride & Handling

Your tasks

• Steering ride & handling performance evaluation
• Test and tuning of steering & suspension components
• Damper system development & tuning
• 4WD dynamic performance
• Analyses of kinematic & compliance test results
• Vehicle dynamic development & Chassis NVH investigation
• Test driving & chassis adjustment
• Co-work with international suppliers
• Updating of test procedures and assessment schemes

Your abilities and talents

• Engineering Degree in Automotive Engineering or comparable
• At least 5-10 years experience in the automotive industry with focus on the analysis of suspension kinematic & compliances
• Expert knowledge in shock absorber tuning will be highly appreciated
• Knowledge of the development process and how to develop desired ride & handling properties
• Experience in the assessment of the dynamic behavior of 4&4 vehicles as well as chassis tuning (specific adjustments for suspensions, tires, rubber components of the chassis frame)
• Experience within the conceptual assessment of axial layouting, kinematics, weight and mass distribution
• Ability to work in a multicultural project team
• Perfect command of English language is obligatory due to international orientation
